Phase 1 includes the following physical activities:
3D seismic survey, Full field studies including reservoir and techno-economical study, General studies and surveys: geotechnical, HSE and sand control, Work over of 12 existing wells, Drilling of one new well,Rehabilitation and up-grading of existing production unit.(to 100 MBOPD), Construction of new pipeline (for 150 MBOPD) from Mansuri production unit to Ahwaz Booster Station. (ABS), Construction of new process plant and de-salter unit (with capacity of 75 MBOPD and 20% water-cut).

Darquain Field Development Project
|
|
First stage of Development :
Drilling and completion of 3 appraisal wells, 5 development wells and a gas injection well and installation of gas injection system (including a dehydration column and a high pressure compression train) and a 17 Km pipeline to transfer stabilized oil to the existing Ahwaz–Abadan pipeline.
Second stage of Development:
Drilling and completion of 15 development and 3 gas injection wells and a water disposal well, construction and installation of additional production and injection facilities.

Development of Salman Oil and Gas Fields
|
|
Drilling of 9 production wells in addition to establishing 2 well-head platforms and one residential platform, installing a gas-sweetening plant at Assaluyeh, and transporting gas output of the field to Assaluyeh gas plant via a 30-inch, 240 KM pipeline, and establishing other facilities to achieve the objectives of the development operation.

Development of Fields With Heavy and Extra Heavy Crude Oil
|
|
3 dimentional seismic operations and drilling of 7 exploration wells are foreseen for Kooh-Mond field.
Three dimensional seismic operations, drilling of 7 wells, installation of above-ground facilities for injection and storage of chemicals, and electricity supply for test production are envisaged for zagheh field.
Preliminary studies, 3-dimensional seismic operations for a 300 square km in the sea bed, and the study on the design of field development to evaluate/estimate recoverable reserves and final production of heavy crude oil are foreseen.

Development of Balal Oil Field
|
|
Drilling of 5 production wells and 5 injection wells to inject 50,000 barrels water per day in order to maintain reservoir pressure to facilitate the increased output.
Artificial recovery techniques with in-well-installed pumps (ESP) will be used in this project. Major equipment includes ;2 main production/residential platforms, flare platform and well-head platform system of transferring oil to Lavan Island, water-injection system, generators and fuel- supply systems.

Development of Dorood Oil Field
|
|
The implementation work consists of drilling of 29 new wells which include 15 production wells, 12 water injection wells and 2 gas injection wells. Injection of water and gas to reservoir is planned to achieve the maximum possible incremental oil production.
Major equipment and facilities include:
Gas treatment unit, gas dehydration unit, water injection unit, gas injection unit, turbo generators, installation of an offshore platform and pipe lines onshore and offshore between clusters and new plant.

Development of Forouzan and Esfandiar Oil Fields
|
|
The implementation work consists of drilling and completion of additional production wells on platforms F2 (7 new and 7 re-entry wells), F3 (6 new wells) and F8 ( 3 new wells), drilling one appraisal well on Esfandiar structure and also, evaluationg the existing facilities in both fields and installing necessary facilities with a view to increasing produced gas output.

Gathering Associated Gases from Southern Oil Fields
|
|
The implementation work includes installation of 8 gas-compressor stations plus 8 gas-dehydration next to the xcisting production units and setting up of a gas sweetening plant to be located 1 km from the gas liquefaction units 700 and 800. Other works consist of construction of 278 km of 6-18 inch pipeline, installing 85 rows of pressurizing compressors in the station and the reconstruction and re-commissioning of Mahshar gas refinery.
