Development of Soroosh and Nowrooz Oil Fields
|

The implementation work, consists of installing early production facilities, drilling and completion of 10 new horizontal wells and 2 water disposal wells in Soroosh field and 17 new horizontal wells in Nowrooz field, 3 well-head platforms, 3 production platforms, two living-quarters, 1 floating storage unit, 1 oil-pumping unit, pipelines connecting well-head platforms and production platforms, two export pipelines, electric cables etc.
Fabrication, majority, structures and platforms were done at Qeshm Island excepting the major soroosh production platform No.1 (SPP10 which was fabricated and assembled at Abudhabi. SPP1 deck weighed around 9200 tones and installation was carried out using " float over " method .
